Study Groups

Weaving Study Group - meets the first Monday of the month 7:00 PM. The group just finished studying M's and O's and Monk's Belt and made a calendar of samples with the two weave structures that they studied.  The group will meet Monday, May 5, 2008 to continue exploring Summer and Winter. At the meeting in March the group had a very good discusson on weaving summer and winter on more than 4.  Karen Krause showed us her 7 harness summer and winter fabric. We continued our discussion of eight harness summer and winter at the April meeting.  Our weavings will be completed and shown at the meeting in September.  If interested please contact us at info@eastsidehandweavers.org for location and time of the first meeting. 

Knit-n-Nights- meets the second Monday of the month 7:00 PM.  An informal evening of knitting, coffee, tea and friendship.

The round robin scarf exchange has ended with seven wonderful scarfs, check out the photo gallery for great pictures.

Spinning Study Group - meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM.  A chance to spin and discuss fibers.
